Pedersen,
a mechanical design consultant in the LA area, is co-founder of
AutoIntelligent Systems Inc., a clearinghouse for autonomous technologies
and has been involved in the development of several high technology
products. He is equally at home in the shop and enjoys designing,
building and racing hot rods and other radical vehicles. Pedersen
has a strong racing background, competing since 1992 in local
racing events as both driver and crew chief. Pedersen is an excellent
machinist and fabricator as well as a licensed Airframe and Powerplant
mechanic. |

Piorek, an industrial
designer in the west Los Angeles area, currently works as a product
designer, and has a strong mechanical engineering background.
He has a deep passion for working on classic street rods and hot
rods and enjoys tooling around in a 55 Chevy Nomad, which he completely
restored with his dad. Steve is a talented designer, fabricator
and machinist. |

Bellamy, with his own
consulting company in the North San Francisco Bay Area, incorporates
daily his specialties in the Information Technology arena as System
Integrator, Database Architect, Software Engineer and Trainer.
His projects include development of high performance enterprise
applications, the planning, executing and maintaining of complex
multilateral Line of Business applications, and directing product
adjustments, technology upgrade decisions, and implementations
of high profile projects.
Bellamy's career is fueled by his 24/7 passion for technology,
particularly adaptive systems in real-world environments. This
includes development of artificial immune systems, adaptive systems
to control complexity and cost of new technologies, and artificial
intelligence environments such as autonomous vehicle control. |

Gunnar has worked on many
Linux projects, most notably stereo vision code
and experiments for the Space Shuttle. Gunnar grew up in Pinehurst,
Texas among gadgets, chickens, and monster truck tires. Between
hacking on software and hardware, he can be found mudding in his
1967 Land Rover. |

Huybrechts currenly is
employed at NASA Ames Research Center. She is a graduate student
in geography with a focus in remote sensing image interpretation
and analysis at San Francisco State University. Former research
projects include assessing urban sprawl using LANDSAT TM imagery
and change detection analysis, agricultural land conversion and
preservation in California, and detecting evapotranspiration using
remote sensing image analysis. Catherine received her bachelor
of arts in geography with a focus in geographic techniques from
San Francisco State University in 2002. |
